Boot Area

TR7 Restoration Project, Nov-2013

Like the rest of the car, the boot needed a fair amount of welding. Again much time was spent removing previous patches:

Cut out and replaced the largest area of rot:

Then it was a case of repairing a number of fiddly areas. Most of the rust starts in the seams, so where necessary I cut the seam flanges out and then seam welded the joins:
